power loss

I am running 18 in wheels and 35's. question is if anyone knows in numbers how much power loss there should be. i got dynoed at 270.4 rwhp and 352.9 torque. thanks for the input

Well the taller tires combined with the extra unsprung wheel weight......my guess...and this just a guesstimate....

260/330 on the same dyno...same conditions.

well it seems you lost around 15 torque but its only a problem when wanting to accelerate. other then that it still will haul close to normal it might grip better now with those tire when pulling something in the dirt. it has been mention that when you press the tow button with tires bigger then 35" it might throw off the tow mode but it hasnt happen to me yet

I think rossi thought those numbers were before the new tires.

ok gotcha, the numbers are as it sits. i will put stock tires and wheels and run again, but was wondering if anyone knew or has done this with big tires and knew about what the losses are

Pretty good numbers with your set up. I would say you lost around 20 HP and 15-20 TQ. I think 04s dyno close to 300 HP with your mods.

can the 07 intake be put on a 04 and would it help
